| Karen is a graduate of the Art Institute of Houston, obtaining a degree in interior design and graduating magna cum laude. She obtained her business degree at University of Houston, majoring in real estate. She completed Rice University's executive business management program. Karen also holds a real estate broker's license. |

| Her experience includes over 20 years of combined commercial tenant and building construction, retail showroom management, and residential design. Areas of expertise range from architectural review, concept development, furniture selection and layout, space planning and complete finish specification. |
